Yesterday Kristen was awarded a Leonardo Horse in the category of “Best Acting Performance Female” for her role in Welcome to the Riley’s during The Milan International Film Festival! A big congratulations to Kristen!

Contact Music – The actress, best known for playing Bella Swan in the vampire franchise, was picked for the top Miff prize for her portrayal of a troubled stripper in Welcome to the Rileys.

The Wire star Aidan Gillen was named Best Actor for his performance in Treacle Jr., while Nadia Tass was voted Best Director for her drama Matching Jack.

Filmmaker Fenton Bailey picked up the Best Documentary accolade for Becoming Chaz, about pop legend Cher’s transgender son Chaz Bono.

Welcome to the Rileys was recently released on DVD and screen captures have finally been added to the gallery! Some caps do contain slight nudity so please take caution when viewing them :]

Welcome to the Rileys was released in France today and as a consequence there are a few new clips from the movie floating around. Please bare in mine that these clips are not work friendly, viewer discretion is advised.

RopeofSilicon have released another new clip from Welcome to the Rileys. Please note that the short clip contains a number of expletives. I have to say, from what we’ve seen so far I’m very impressed with Kristen’s performance. I can’t wait to see the whole movie.

Kristen has recently talked to The LA Times about Welcome to the Rileys. The article itself is nothing new, it mostly concentrates on Kristen’s struggle with fame and hardly mentions WTTR but it was published alongside a gorgeous portrait picture of her that has been added to the gallery.

“I don’t have a personality fit for television. I just don’t,” she admitted, sounding genuinely friendly. “Even when I really feel like I’ve had fun with something and been totally fine and we talked about stuff that I thought was interesting — even then. I don’t know. It’s getting easier. It used to be a lot worse. And it’s totally my fault, too. I guess I just put too much pressure on myself before, and it showed.” Read More
