“The movie is called Twilight,” 17-year-old Into the Wild actress Kristen Stewart beamed when we recently spoke to her. “[Lords of Dogtown filmmaker] Catherine Hardwicke is directing it in Washington. It’s based on a book that’s pretty popular [among] young adult, high school kids.”

Rising star Kristen Stewart made Emile Hirsch question his right-on attitude in Sean Penn’s Into the Wild with her good looks and rock-chick style. The 17-year-old is also the hottest young actress in Hollywood right now, with Catherine Hardwicke recently snapping her up to star in teen vampire flick Twilight. She has also just wrapped Adventureland, Greg Mottola’s eagerly anticipated follow-up to Superbad, and IGN recently caught up with her to find out more about the flick.

IGN: Were you a fan of director Greg Mottola?

Kristen Stewart: I loved Superbad — it was so real and earnest. He’s written and directed Adventureland and we shot it in Pittsburgh. I play the love interest of Jesse Eisenberg.
